At Mount Vernon we celebrate curiosity, exploration, discovery, and ultimately learning. Beyond the satisfaction of accomplishment, we believe it is equally important to demonstrate the learning that occurs inside the classroom and beyond. Using Project Based Learning (PBL), Inquiry Based Learning (IBL), Design Thinking, Expeditionary Learning, External Experts and Experts in Residence, our students and teachers approach gaining knowledge from a variety of angles.
Student work was on display at the School’s largest ever Learning Exhibition, to which families, grandparents, and special friends were invited. There is no better way to reinforce learning than by sharing.
