One of the fastest growing companies in the U.S. recently hosted Mount Vernonβs Upper School students. Cardlytics, a purchase-based data intelligence company, ranked the 25th fastest growing companies in North America took the Schoolβs popular Business & Entrepreneurship Club behind the scenes.
MVPS parent and Cardlyticsβ President of Global Business Innovation & Product, Joe Schab, organized and led the experience. Headquartered at Atlantaβs Ponce City Market, one of the many things students learned about is the companyβs business model. Cardlytics partners with banking institutions to drive smarter marketing to consumers. Walking the 75,000 square-foot space, students also observed the companyβs dynamic culture. Employees at Cardlytics work in open, collaborative spaces, with a variety of options for gathering and downtime like a game room, a space for exercise classes, and Cardlytics even has a space for the company band to jam.
Students say the most energizing part of the experience was hearing the stories of several staff members who shared their personal journeys, what led them to Cardlytics, why they love working there, as a well as offering some helpful advice for the studentsβ futures. Β Co-founder Lynn Laube encouraged students, βIf you have a good idea, donβt ever give up on it, push on it.βΒ
Afterwards, B&E Club members and especially the co-presidents were excited and grateful for the opportunity.
