An MVPS Southern Tradition: The Mustang Derby

In the perfect setting with traditional southern charm, Mustang Rally sponsors gathered to be celebrated by the School. As a thank you for their participation in supporting the Rally, sponsors were invited to the annual Derby party – Jockeys and Juleps.
Hosted at Historic Naylor Hall in Roswell, the event was planned by Mount Vernon parent volunteers Melanie Pope (L) and Sunny Bailey (R).

Guests wore their Derby best, including wide-brimmed hats, bowties, seersucker suits and boots.
   
Thank you to Sabrina McNerney (L) and Ashley Giardino (R) who co-chaired the Mustang Rally, Mount Vernon’s all-day, all-school, all-fun event.

As well as to Upper School Latin teacher Sam Baroody who emceed this year’s Derby party.
