IMG_1484MVPS preschoolers celebrated the life and imagination of Dr. Seuss, recently, during Dr. Seuss week. To honor the world-renowned children’s book author and illustrator on March 2, which would have been his 112th birthday, students around the nation dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2, played Cat in the Hat games and ate green eggs and ham.
Our youngest readers shared in Seuss’ contagious silliness, bringing to life some of the most popular children’s books of all time — books which have sold over 600 million copies, been translated into more than 20 languages and graced the shelves of most beginning readers’Β libraries.
