Princesses, Superheroes, Witches and all sorts of animals gathered on the Lower School courtyard to celebrate Fall last weekend.Β Dancing to the DJβs beat, playing various musical games, going on hay rides, hay bale jumping, face painting, and literally running around with friends proved to be non-stop fun for the K – Grade 4 set and all of their siblings.
Mrs. Culbertsonβs 1st graders won the pumpkin decorating contest with their Wizard of Oz Lion and Tin Man duo while Mrs. Kingβs 3rd grade Despicable Me Minions were voted most popular scarecrows. The winning classes received balls, frisbees, hula hoops and other activity-encouraging items to use during recess on the courtyard.
While kids were busy being kids, families joined together for a picnic of BBQ sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, baked beans and coleslaw, all provided by Chef Todd and our in-house dining service, SAGE. Make your own sundaes topped off the feast making the entire event a night to remember.
