Congratulations Luca Lemons, the School’s first Spirit Shirt Design Competition winner!
Luca is a new student in Grade 1 this year. During his design process, he was inspired by other MV spirit shirts, and wanted to represent the School by using the School’s colors.
The Spirit Shirt Design Competition is the first competition he’s ever entered, and he can’t wait to see everyone wearing his design around campus and showing their Mount Vernon spirit.
Since coming to MV in the fall, his favorite things so far are the Science and Maker labs, and his favorite class is Art.

From the more than 200 entries submitted during the competition, the top five were selected (four shown below), and more than 700 students voted to decide the winner.

Ordering closes December 4 at midnight. Shirts are expected to arrive by December 18.Β
The MADE in MV Spirit Shop, located in the Upper School building, will sell a limited quantity of shirts in various sizes for an increased price each, after the pre-orders have been delivered.
