Congratulations to our third round of Division 1 signees from the Class of 2017: Michael Okwilagwe, Morgan Lewis, Gabriela Gonzalez, and Brooks Langley! The Mount Vernon community celebrates our student athlete/scholars, among their family and friends. Balancing perseverance, hard work, heavy workloads, good judgment, and difficult choices, these mustangs are college ready.
Athletic Director Brad Dehem shares, “Nine players moving on to play college athletics in one year is pretty special. When all nine are going to be Div 1 players, it’s an extra special occasion. I give credit to their coaches and teammates who helped in their development. This also says a lot about the direction of our programs at MV.”
