By the Numbers: Interim Term’s Reach, Connection and Impact

B_gtArFUYAMatHNΒ Over the course of one week, more than 270 Upper School students broadened their reach, scope, knowledge, relationships, passion and impact during Interim Term.

  • 138 scoops of gelato eaten in Italy and 166,000 steps walked (66 miles)
  • 7 Silicon Valley companies visited in 5 days, including Facebook and IDEO
  • 30 Costa Rican students (K-5) served
  • 8.5 miles biked around China’s Xi’an city wall
  • 35 miles canoed on Florida’s Intercoastal Waterway
  • 4,800 ft elevation hiked at Brasstown Bald, GA
  • 3,000 images photographedΒ 
  • 3 MVPS students spent 5 weeks participating in cultural exchange with MVPS sister school, Europa International in Seville, Spain
  • 5 Internships at Northpoint Community Church
