Christmas Programs Capture the Reason for the Season

Lower School and Preschool students and the Founders Campus performing arts teachers put on one of the most memorable Christmas Programs yet.
Delighting parents, grandparents, and friends, third and fourth graders not only sang spirited Christmas carols and played their recorders but they also incorporated a drama production written and produced by Mount Vernon faculty member, Amanda Stavropoulos. Told from a modern perspective, the young actors played out a story about the true meaning of Christmas.
Kindergarteners through second grade went through the famous Christmas poem Twas the Night Before Christmas with students dressed in their festive, Christmas pajamas. Last but not least was the Preschool program filled with angels and shepherds as the MV Littles recited a Christmas poem, sang traditional Christmas carols, and shared smiles and waves with their loved ones in the audience.
Mount Vernon’s Christmas Programs end the first semester with such cheer! Mount Vernon wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
