Partnering with business leaders in Sandy Springs Rotary, Mount Vernon’s Upper School recently formed an Interact Club. The Interact Club is for high school school students who want to make a difference in their community. Through Interact students will perform hands-on service projects, make international connections, and develop leadership skills. At a recent Sandy Springs Rotary meeting, members inducted Mount Vernon’s Interact Club officers, who are Anjana Anandkumar, Anya Smith-Roman, and Marisa Mecke. Upper School English teacher Becky Tussey is the sponsor of the newly created Mount Vernon Interact Club.
