Learn about Interim Trips, Wednesday, October 9

Interim Term started in 2010, and is an innovative program at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School. Interim offers students in grades 9-12 the opportunity to explore personal interests, integrate disciplines, expand their minds, and serve the public good.
This year, Interim will take place March 3-7, 2014. Opportunities include; International or domestic travel, college tours, service trips, or cultural expeditions; Off-campus Atlanta courses; Internships (juniors and seniors only); and innovative, on-campus courses. Interim is to promote the 21st century learning and engage the students with real world challenges and opportunities.
An informational meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 9 from 6-7:30PM on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Glenn Campus. It will give students and parents the opportunity to hear from the trip leaders about different travel opportunities.
12th and 11th graders will be able to register for trips on Thursday, October 24th from 7:30-8:50. 10th and 9th graders will be able to register for trips on Friday, October 25 at 7:30-7:50 am. Registration takes place at the bottom of the Grand Staircase.
Trips include: Paris, France; Halifax, Nova Scotia; Andes Mountains, Peru; Washington D.C. & Maryland College tours; South and North Carolina college tours; Northern New Mexico; and, Orlando, Florida. If you have any further questions please email Meg Brown atΒ [email protected].
