One of Mount Vernon’s five norms to HAVE FUN was in full force last week.Β Fifth and sixth grade students gathered for their first social of the year at SkyZone. Choosing from a variety of activities, students played trampoline basketball, trampoline dodgeball, jumped into the foam pit, as well as on many, many trampolines. Students competed in basketball and dodgeball competitions and many teachers joined in on the fun. At the end of the social, everyone was treated to pizza and drinks. Helping to make it all happen were several Middle School moms, and as a result of their hard work, teachers, students, and administrators were grateful for the fun experience.
