Congratulations to the MV Allstars – Mount Vernon Upper School thespians – for their state theatre performance at the Georgia Theatre Conference in Columbus this weekend.

Following their fall mainstage production if The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong, the Allstars were invited for the first time to perform live at the conference.

As some say, “the show must go on.” Well, in The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong that’s exactly what happens. The Allstars spent months working on this play within a play, featuring a cast who provided laugh-out-loud comedy.

The cast and crew included:

Kat Petty
Natalie Fiacco
Addie Vogt
Holly Vogt
Piper Hendryx
Grace Gilmour
Miller Woodall
Shea Grifith
Zoe Embleton
Dennis Normal
Michael Barwood}
Win Scott
Warren Neel
William Nix

Additionally, Shea Griffith and Miller Woodall were recognized for their technical achievement in the show. Caroline Putnam earned a superior for her light design and Shea received a superior for stage management.

Class of 2022 Win Scott earned both a superior for his short film and was also recognized onstage during the closing ceremony showcase awards.

Congratulations, Allstars! Up next: Scotland.
