MVPS Dance Instructor Elissa Harbuck’s newly formed MV Dance Co. – dancers in grades 1 to 3 – recently competed against dozens of dance studios from around the state to earn prestigious top honors at Showstopper, the largest dance competition in the country. Twenty-three girls in two groups (grades 1 & 2 and grade 3) have been rehearsing since the beginning of this school year.
At competition, the girls’ hard work and dedication paid off. Their entries placed as follows:
Hard Knock Life received 2nd place overall in Mini (8 and under) Performance Large Group:

Dreamland received 4th place overall in Mini (8 and under) Performance Large Group:

MV Dance Co. received two gold awards, which qualifies them to participate in the Showstopper National Finals in either Sandusky – OH, Myrtle Beach – SC, Anaheim – CA or Galveston – TX this summer.
