MV Parents Thank Faculty with Funky Food Truck

When the bright blue food truck pulled up at the Horseshoe on the Glenn Campus, some of the Upper School faculty and staff were already lined up, eager to place their orders.
In an expression of appreciation for the Glenn Campus faculty and staff, the MVParents Association arranged for the Yumbii food truck to provide a special luncheon for the teachers and administration of both Upper and Middle Schools. (The Founders Campus Luncheon is scheduled for March 26.)
Yumbii is Atlanta’s original food truck. Offering an eclectic mix of international flavors with a street food twist, Yumbii trucks can be seen rolling all over the city. Dubbed β€œfar out food” for its non-traditional blend of Asian and Mexican flavors, Yumbii serves tacos of all kinds, including Spicy Pulled Pork and Asian Chicken.
Parent Coordinators Christy Payne and Nicole Robinson along with Leslie Hill and a committee of other volunteers planned and executed the trendy and welcome diversion. The change of pace offered our most grateful faculty an opportunity to enjoy fellowship, a break from routine and sesame fries.
