(L-R): Brad Dehem, Matthew Neylon and Blair Peterson

Excited to welcome three new members of our Mount Vernon community, parents along with faculty and staff, attended a morning reception on the Glenn Campus veranda at the Upper School. Meeting and greeting dozens of new faces, our newest friends mingled and true to our norms, asked a lot of questions — instantly becoming part of the MVPS fabric.
Dr. Blair Peterson, Head of Upper School, flew in from Brazil, where he is finishing up the year as High School Principal of Graded – The American School in Sao Paolo. In July, Blair, his wife and three children (rising grades 4, 10 and 11) will take root in Atlanta.
Brad Dehem, Director of Athletics, drove in from Columbus, Georgia where currently, he is the athletic director and head football coach at Brookstone School. Brad, his wife and three young children will join us this summer.
Matthew (Matt) Neylon, Director of Visual and Performing Arts was visiting from Rockford, Illinois, where he is the Choral and Theatre Director at Rockford Christian School. Matthew will also join us in July.
It is with great enthusiasm that, as a school, we embrace these three new leaders. We look forward to building something exceptional, together.
