You will not want to miss the MVPS Allstars in this season’s Upper School Musical, Little Shop of Horrors.
It talks! It sings! It taps tentacle tendrils and has a taste for…human flesh! It’s Audrey II! Come see the MVPS Allstars take on the film and theatre cult phenomenon, Little Shop of Horrors! The horrifically talented cast consists of seniors Joseph Martin and Jonathan Moore as Seymour and his boss, Mr. Mushnik, senior Dana Cohen as the femme fatale, Audrey, seniors Gina Zhang, Shelby Garde and sophomore Abby VanLandingham as the intrepid trio of singing, dancing, street urchins! But wait! There’s more! Junior Savannah Rettig, freshman Anya Smith-Roman and senior Judge Jones take on the puppeteering chops for the man-eating plant.
Supporting them is a frighteningly fabulous ensemble/chorus of juniors Bryce Veach, Caroline White and Jon Walsh, plus freshman Michael McConnell and Anjana Anandkumar! Generating sounds and lights are Josh Eastwood and Jackson Dalton. Add on the perfectly phantasmic production team of vocal coach Mrs. Eastwood, music director, Chris Moore, choreographer and MVP parent, Cara Mills, art teachers Hank Kunath and Mariana Depetris and you have a monster of a show.
