Students should plan on bringing study or reading materials to each exam in the event that the student finishes the exam early. Students will not be able to use cell phones or laptops until the conclusion of the exam.
  • Standard uniforms are to be worn during exams.
  • Students should be picked up following exams at 10 a.m. unless they plan to stay for tutorial, in which case they should be picked up at 12:00 noon.
  • The building will close at 12:00 noon each day of exam week. Any students on campus must be under the direct supervision of a faculty member.
  • Lunch will not be served during exam week.
  • Mount Vernon will administer make-up exams to students who have conflicting exams (for example, two science exams) or encounter a family emergency or emergency illness on the day of the scheduled exam. Students should notify both his or her teacher and Mrs. Breite about a conflict, family emergency, or illness prior to the day of the exam.
