Dear MV Families and Supporters,
Welcome to the Mustang Athletic Club! My name is Jaclyn Nazarian and I am the Mustang Athletic Club Chair. My husband, Josh, and I are the parents of two Mustang athletes. Our son Sam is a sophomore and our daughter Brooke is in eighth grade. As we move forward into what I hope will be a more “normal” year, I look forward to supporting and cheering on all of our student athletes and coaches.
The Mustang Athletic Club is your guide to all things athletics. We will be sharing updates on upcoming games, try-outs and of course all of the wonderful accomplishments of our student athletes and coaches. We will be helping to facilitate the concessions at many of our varsity sporting events. Whether you have an athlete participating or you’re just a Mustang fan, we hope you will consider volunteering in the concession stands at some point this year. Whether you’re new to Mount Vernon or have been a Mustang for years, working in the concessions is a great way to connect with friends and meet some of our new Mustang Families.
The Mustang Athletic Club is also here to guide and assist all of our team parent volunteers. Being a team parent is such an important role for our teams and especially our fabulous coaches. We will give you all the tools needed to be the liaison between the coach and parents.
As we quickly approach the start of the fall athletic seasons, I hope you all will join the Mustang Athletic Club. This year, your membership of $25.00 per family will get you a key fob to get into games for free as well as a sticker for your car. We look forward to filling the stands and bleachers with all of our Mustang families!
