Students inย Preschool through grade 6 filled the Founders Campus Sanctuary withย toys, games, dolls and life-sized stuffed animals, while seventh through twelfth graders created a mountain of toys on the Glenn Campus to contributeย to the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive.
In each location, students in various grade levels led prayer, readings of verse, personal testimonials about the spiritย of giving and sang songs of praise and joy.
Bothย United States Marine Corps representatives, Staff Sergeant Todd Niebauer and Sergeant Carlton Roachย thankedย our community on behalf of the Corps. “It’s people like you who make the lives of those who are less fortunate, full of promise. The Marine Corps just facilitates the drive. It’s our communities who really make the difference. Last year we collected over one million toys in the Atlanta area, alone. Thank you.” shared Staff Sergeant Niebauer.
Head of Lower School Shelley Clifford charged everyone in the Sanctuary, “Instead of asking someone ‘What did you get for Christmas this year’, ask “What did you give’?”
Our community can be proud of contributing 1,052 toys this year!!
