Curiosity peaks around age four or five, but at Mount Vernon, we believe that`s just the beginning.
From big questions to exciting discoveries, our youngest learners are encouraged to wonder, explore, and follow their curiosity wherever it leads.
🎥 In Chapter 1 of our Are You In? series, Molly Hudson, Head of Lower School, shares how we`re nurturing a lifelong love of learning, one question at a time.

What do French baguettes, Vietnamese bánh mì, and a family’s journey across the world have in common?
Our Grade 7 French students took their learning beyond the classroom to @sate.grille, where they discovered how food, language, and history connect cultures.
Our first-ever MV Summer Arts Camp was a celebration of creativity, expression, and imagination.
Campers explored theatre, dance, visual arts, maker, design, and music through movement, storytelling, rhythm, set design, stage makeup, scene work, props, costumes, character creation, and collaborative projects.
The week ended with a special performance featuring original artwork, choreography, and songs from Matilda, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, and Hairspray.
From studio time to the stage, campers created, collaborated, performed, and brought their ideas to life in such meaningful ways.
