Dr. Katie Robinson (she/her) is originally from the mountains of northeast Georgia. Her love of performing arts and theater led her to study musical theater at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts in high school. She went on to earn her master’s degree in Drama Therapy from New York University in 2016. She worked as a child counselor and advocate supporting trauma survivors in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley for several years before returning to school to earn her doctorate (PhD) in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia’s Mary Frances Early College of Education in 2022.
