Playmaker & Extended Day

Meeting the needs of families seeking after-school care, both PlayMaker and Extended Play programs offer opportunities for students and families to extend their child’s learning experience, build community, and develop long-lasting relationships with their classmates and teachers.

PlayMaker Classes

PlayMaker offers enrichment opportunities where students explore their interests outside of the classroom during the week. It’s meant to simplify families’ weekly schedules, enabling you to enjoy family time outside of school hours. The majority of our PlayMaker classes are taught by our Mount Vernon teachers and coaches. Class offerings are varied and include dance, chess, golf, yoga, homework help, Arts and STEM exploration, and much more.

Preschool – Grade 8 students | Most classes are from 3:00 – 3:45 pm

Extended Day Offerings

Extended Day offers quality care for families with busy schedules. Students have time to complete home learning, extend their classroom project work, eat a snack and enjoy our recreational spaces like the Lower School Courtyard and the Frontier. It’s less structured time than the school day, allowing students to play and connect with their classmates.

Families may choose monthly or drop-in rates for Extended Day. Rates are listed on our tuition page.
