Financial Assistance

The Mount Vernon School offers financial assistance based solely on need for families with children applying to Kindergarten and above. The School subscribes to the AAAIS Financial Aid Policy which requires all interested families to submit specific financial information to determine eligibility. Information and applications are on the Clarity Website. A Clarity one page quick guide and the Family Application Guide are available for your reference.

For consideration for the 2024-2025 school year, you must:

  • Submit all requested forms and applications to Clarity by March 1, 2024.
  • Sign and submit Form 4506c through the Clarity website to give Clarity permission to pull your prior year (2022) tax returns. Please be sure to complete this form no later than February 20, 2024 in order to have Clarity pull the tax return; after February 20, 2024 you will need to import your 2022 tax return, or 2023, if available, into Clarity.

Final determination of financial assistance dollars rests with the School and is subject to the availability of funds and number of financial assistance applicants. Notification of award is sent when an applicant is offered an opportunity to enroll. Please be mindful that financial aid funds are limited and not readily available once distributed for the year.

If you have any further questions regarding financial assistance, or to apply for financial assistance after the deadline, please contact Kathy Ferguson or Ryan Cliff in Finance and Accounting at 404-252-3448 ext. 2700 or email [email protected].

AAAIS Financial Aid Policies: Each candidate for admission will be required to give adequate documentation of family financial resources in order to be considered for financial aid. All financial aid awards are based only on need. AAAIS schools do not give financial awards to applicants for any reason other than demonstrated need, and awards do not exceed that need. AAAIS prohibits the use of scholarships for academic, athletic, or artistic merit or talent as recruitment tools. Financial aid applicants will be notified in writing no sooner than the time of parent notification of admission status. Financial aid applications are confidential.
