Last week, Grade 10 Humanities students engaged with the traveling @dignitymuseum from @lovebeyondwalls, an Atlanta organization dedicated to sharing the lived experiences of people facing homelessness. Students rotated through interactive stations including the museum exhibit, a discussion on the importance of basic resources like a water bottle, and simulations showing how challenging everyday life becomes without government ID.
This powerful experience deepened their ongoing inquiry into systems, equity, and human dignity. As students begin designing their storytelling of injustice projects—research-based, immersive exhibits that imagine a more just and inclusive world—the Dignity Museum offered an empathetic lens to ground their thinking.
By listening to real stories and grappling with the obstacles marginalized communities face, students gained meaningful insight that will shape the ideas they bring to their final showcase on December 16 alongside Innovation Diploma’s "Future Of" event.
Three Grade 4 Mustangs just became published authors! 📚✨
Nathan, Arthur, and Brooks wrote and released their original book, Terror on Cornwall Street — complete with characters, plot twists, and plenty of creativity. Their book is officially printed and available at this week’s Book Fair, so be sure to stop by and check out their work!

Through their work with the International Dyslexia Association Teen Board, our Upper School students are raising awareness for diverse learners across Georgia. From volunteering at the Dyslexia Dash to sharing their stories at the annual IDA Conference, they’re leading with empathy, curiosity, and courage.
