Christian Values
Spiritual Life at Mount Vernon is designed to support students in developing a sense of purpose by reinforcing our school’s commitment to the Christian values of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, also known as the Fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23
These values are foundational to the life of our school as they are Scripture-based. At the same time, these values are universal and invite each person, regardless of faith background, to the work of designing a better world.

WEEKLY CHAPEL SERVICES
Culture & Connection
During Chapel services, students have the opportunity to share their faith and family traditions. Lower Campus students have shared stories about the Jewish holidays, Diwali traditions, and Holi. As we elevate our collective consciousness, we also welcome esteemed guest speakers to our special Chapel services, injecting fresh insights and catalyzing transformative dialogues.
On the Upper Campus, impactful personal stories are shared by students who are open about their faith journey and particular moments of impact in their lives.
Chapel services support emotional health & well-being providing a space where every student is reminded of their humanity and has a structured opportunity to reflect upon their purpose.
Spiritual Life is woven into the fabric of our community. More than a weekly moment, spiritual life is cultivated through many avenues.
