Your Giving in Action
- A new safety and security vehicle, fully equipped with patrol and first aid packages, to keep our students safe
- New security access controls and a higher encrypted badging system, increasing the security of access entrance points into buildings on both campuses
- Oversized digital screens on either side of the main stage in the Upper Campus Gym
- Exciting improvements to our Lower Campus Frontier and (i)Explore play space to give our littlest Mustangs more opportunities to learn and play
- Funding for more than 150 professional learning experiences, which resulted in more than 2,000 hours of additional professional development for faculty and staff
- A new 80-foot flagpole installed on The Ron Hill Field in honor of the Class of 2023
- Numerous community engagement events were hosted, including Mustang Rally, our all community carnival and field day

In honor of Mount Vernon’s founding year, those who give gifts of $1,972 and higher are members of the 1972 Society, which reflects the Mount Vernon community’s strong legacy of giving. We look forward to celebrating all 1972 Society Members at the annual 1972 Social in late spring.

Stock Transfer
IRA Gift
Donors 70½ years old or older can transfer up to $100,000 tax-free from an IRA directly to the MVFund. These gifts can satisfy the donor’s annual minimum distribution. Please leverage our IRA letter template prepopulated with Mount Vernon’s tax ID and information.
