On October 4-5 be a part of 24 Hours of Booty at MVPS!

Cycling enthusiasts and families seeking to make a dent in the fight against cancer will once again participate in this giant event hosted at Mount Vernon on October 4-5, 2014. The 24 Hours of Booty, a family-friendly event with riders of all abilities, begins Saturday, October 4 at 2:00 p.m. The course is a 2.7 mile loop winding through Mount Vernon Woods neighborhood, with the headquarters, a.k.a. Bootyville, at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School. View the course
This year, once again, Mount Vernon will have a team made up of students, faculty, and parents called Mustang Strong. Lisa Hughes, a Mount Vernon parent and member of MVP Church is leading the team along with MVPS Physical Fitness Director, Scott Cain.

For families who want to ride, click thisΒ linkΒ www.24hoursofbooty.org/MVPSFamilyΒ for a special $25 registration rate and a $100 fundraising commitment. Based off a family of four, that means $100 total registration for everyone and $400 total fundraising for the family.Β Families may ride as much or as little as they’d like within the 24 hour period.Β The kids’ rideΒ will beginΒ atΒ 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, led by former NFL pro Chris Draft. Meet at the start line atΒ 10:00Β a.m. – they’llΒ wrap up theirΒ ride with ice cream!Β 
Additionally, the 24 Hours of Booty features live entertainment, food, and a kids zone!
Monies raised support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Aflac Cancer Center and Livestrong.
