If the recent performance of the MVPS Middle School sports teams is any indication of future success, it can be said with confidence that there is a LOT to look forward to in the coming years.
In just the past week, the Middle School sports teams accomplished the following:
7/8 FOOTBALL trounced St. Francis 38-7
MIDDLE SCHOOL SOFTBALL defeated Fellowship Christian 18-0 to improve to 5-2
BLUE VOLLEYBALL bested Kings Academy 2-0
MIDDLE SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY turned in the best overall performance in middle school history. The lady Mustangs took home the school’s first ever FIRST PLACE FINISH, dominating the field of 10 teams, while the boys finished an impressive 5th on a very challenging course.
Congratulations, Middle School Athletes! You are the future of Mount Vernon Athletics, and the future looks very, very bright!
