Congratulations to the MV Allstars – Mount Vernon Upper School thespians – for their state theatre performance at the Georgia Theatre Conference in Columbus this weekend.ย
Following their fall mainstage production ifย The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong, the Allstars were invitedย for the first timeย to perform live at the conference.ย
As some say,ย โthe show must go on.โย Well, inย The One-Act Play That Goes Wrongย thatโs exactly what happens. The Allstars spent months working on this play within a play, featuring a cast who provided laugh-out-loud comedy.

Additionally, Shea Griffith and Miller Woodall were recognized for their technical achievement in the show. Caroline Putnam earned aย superiorย for her light design and Shea received aย superiorย for stage management.
Class of 2022 Win Scott earned both aย superiorย for his short film and was also recognized onstage during the closing ceremony showcase awards.
