For one night only, Mount Vernon hosts its annual holiday tradition, A Christmas Carol, adapted, designed and performed by Atlanta actor and director of Mount Vernon’s Upper School drama program, Clark Taylor.

A unique and magical evening of storytelling unfolds as Clark performs Charles Dickens’ ghost story of Christmas, portraying all the denizens of the beloved author by himself. Clark has been performing this theatrical tour-de-force for more than 20 years on stages throughout the Atlanta area. Says Taylor, “It’s been suggested as the second greatest story ever told, and I am honored and delighted to have the opportunity to share Dickens’ magical tale with the Mount Vernon and Sandy Springs communities.” Performed in the round and in the intimacy of the Black Box theatre, this will be a holiday event you will not want to miss!
