Ten businesses run by 14 Grade 3, 4 and 5 graders presented their handcrafted goods for sale to students, faculty, and parents. Products included tasty baked goods, colorful bracelets, cosmic coasters, and whimsical bookmarks.

In only an hour, these young entrepreneurs generated almost $600 in revenue! But even more important than the money earned were the lessons learned in production, marketing, sales, and finance.

Finally, in the interest of good corporate citizenship, the group showed support for their community by meeting with Director of Community Giving Elizabeth Werdesheim, and donating a portion of their proceeds to the MV Fund – because we are Better Together!ย
