Using their imagination, creative-thinking skills, and knowledge of the world students in the Lower School recently participated in the 2nd annual Cardboard Challenge. Led by Design Thinking Coordinator Mary Cantwell, students collected hundreds of cardboard boxes throughout the week, then worked together in groups to construct the metropolises of the world on the Founders Campus Courtyard.
The Global Cardboard Challenge, inspired by the short film, ‘Caine’s Arcade,’ is a worldwide celebration of child creativity. During the month of September, kids were challenged to create and build using cardboard, recycled materials and imagination.
