IMG_5521Kicking off the 2014-2015 basketball season, the second annual showdown of faculty vs. parents game proved to be an exciting match as parents outscored the faculty, an impressive 54 to 50.
A three-point sink by ELC teacher Molly Collier, was a highlight of the game, which was refereed by Coach Curtis Berry, head coach for the MVPS Varsity Boys Basketball team.
Coach Burnette was able to unify her team of parents to take the win. Parent players: Betsy Armstrong, Steve Hickey, Paul Delgado, Rev. Joe B. Martin, Hector Munoz, Sandy Munoz and Todd Pierce.
Coach Heiser did his best to pull his experienced faculty players ahead on the scoreboard, but they went home empty-handed. Faculty athletes: James Campbell, Patrick Coffield, Molly Collier, JP Hogan, Terry Luck, Officer Mike, Abdul Shamsid-Deen and David Song.
