Screen Shot 2014-08-20 at 12.24.14 AMMount Vernon’s Upper School Theatre Director Clark Taylor shared his extraordinary talents internationally over the summer. Performing before a worldwide audience, Clark was in a two-person play at the world’s largest theatre festival in Scotland, called The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Taylor shares, “The Fringe Festival was simply amazing. The entire world attends, performs and plays at this global event, so it was quite thrilling to have the opportunity to participate. Our performances were situated in a location close to all of the people, so we received a lot publicity. Being a part of a global theatre scene was just amazing for me as an actor.”
One of the most significant takeaways he says was learning more about the art of storytelling. Students taking drama this year and those a part of the Upper School MVPSAllstars, will have the opportunity to be inspired by some of the methods Taylor observed and experienced during his international debut.
