This week Mount Vernon students are participating in The Hour of Code. The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify “code” and show that anyone can learn the basics to be a maker, a creator, an innovator. Classes are working with Mount Vernon’s IT department staff to utilize many online resources so students participate in this world-wideΒ record-breaking event.
